Hi, I'm Harry. I have 20 years of professional experience as a music producer, sound designer, mix engineer and production manager providing end-to-end music and sound solutions for today's leading Music Labels, Media Companies and Brands. I'm based in London, but also available for location and studio work regionally and internationally. I also co-founded an organisation called Sound Matters which is about raising awareness of 'the soundscape' in order to help address the various crises we face as a planet.

Music Production

Making music has always been my passion; it started at the family piano, playing along to the radio and quickly developed into a fascination with how records were made. After studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music, I then went on to produce and remix music for various artists specialising in soulful dance music, inspired by the likes of 4 Hero, Bugz in the attic and Masters At Work. At the age of 19, I was commissioned to do a remix for Blue Note records, working with my musical hero Roy Ayers. Since then, I have gone on to work with some of the top artists and labels, providing end-to-end music creation services from recording, songwriting, producing, mix engineering, remixing and mastering. Whilst running a commercial recording studio in East London for 5 years, I produced numerous albums, EPs and 12″ records spanning a variety of genres. I am fortunate that my work has taken me around the world, working in Marrakech, New York, Paris, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Los Angeles and Delhi.

I enjoying producing for big crowds and have also performed on various stages as a session and touring musician, live show producer and musical director, delivering shows at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Wilderness Festival, Eurosonic, BBC Big Weekender, BBC Radio 1 Extra, Maida Vale Sessions, Red Bull Sessions, SB:TV, BPM Show, to name a few.

I have also worked with the top global Music Tech companies including Novation, Roland, Nord and Akai Pro as a music production and performance ambassador with my most notable collaboration being with UK brand Novation, (www.novationmusic.com) where i worked as a music producer and content creator for over ten years , producing over 30+ promotional videos, reaching over 20+ million views.

Location Sound

Sound is such a crucial part to the storytelling process; indeed, many filmmakers say it tells at least half of the story. I relish in the opportunity to work with film crews to capture the best possible sound in any scenario to tell that story and convey an emotion. I have worked as the production sound mixer for TV shows, live streamed events, commercials, corporate videos, live gigs, music videos and feature films, dealing with 40+ channel projects across Europe, Africa, North & South America and Asia. As an experienced boom operator, recording engineer and sound mixer, I take pride in overseeing the delivery of consistent A1 sound to any video-content driven project, always with a friendly and professional attitude whilst leaving a small production footprint. Im also the owner of a mobile recording unit, which allows on-site solar-powered VO, ADR and mixing services as well as transport for three crew members, which is always handy!

Sound Design

Having spent most of my career in recording studios and recording locations, it has left me fascinated in pushing the envelope in sound design. My journey spanning two decades in professional audio has not only refined my technical expertise but has maintained a passion for sonic exploration and crafting immersive soundscapes. I’m fortunate that my work has taken me to interesting and unusual territories in Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia and has required me to be constantly listening and learning, pushing the technology to deliver authentic and unique sonic experiences to life. My approach always strives to connect with the emotion of the audience first and create soundscapes that are not just heard, but felt, thereby enriching the overall storytelling experience.

Mix

Mixing is an art and it’s something that I have developed over the last two decades working on countless albums, EPs, 12″s, podcasts and documentaries. I ran a commercial recording studio (The Blue Studios) in East London for many years, in which time I have mixed a variety of musical projects as well as live events, commercials and film. I especially enjoy working with projects which include a hybrid of acoustic and electronic sounds but equally as happy mixing for video productions.

The latest and greatest incarnation of the legendary MPC launches for Namm 2026 and the advert needed a multi-genre soundtrack that ‘slapped’. It was an honour to produce this Boombap/Techno/UKG medley for the absolute G in the production game.

This advert needed energy and plenty of hard hitting bass. The performance was packed with new feature highlights and the drums had to bang. Hold tight the energy crew.

Akai – MPC LIVE III Advert

Akai’s latest MPC launch called for a performance video that both honoured its legacy and looked ahead to the future. I composed and produced the soundtrack, blending Trap, Boom-Bap, Future R’n’B, and Nu Detroit Techno to highlight the new creative possibilities of this iconic instrument.

I also made cameo appearance on Boddika’s epic modular studio.

M-Audio – Forty Series Advert

The brief was to create a soundtrack to 6 different studio scenarios, working with the amazing ELS team, 8 artists and 6 locations, I produced a seamless multi-genre journey as the soundbed to this slick new Advert by M-Audio.

It was a real honour to be asked to produce the soundtrack to the biggest Music Technology collaboration in quite some time. The pressure was on, but I grew up on Beatmaking culture so I had to drop something to get the heads going.

Alesis Strata Advert

Alesis wanted to showcase their latest product being used in 3 scenarios, as a band, a practicing soloist and a studio jam session. As musical director, I created a seamless journey through Funk, Rock and Drum and Bass and was sure to record and mix this project to hit hard and pack a punch. Badum Tish!

M-Audio MTrack Duo Advert

The brief here was to show a musical journey of a collaboration between a Guitarist, Vocalist and Producer using M-Audio’s latest audio interface. This track takes you from Neo-Soul through to Garage via three home studio setups.

Novation – Journeys – Hip Hop

I was invited to Los Angeles by music brand Novation to sample the sounds of the city and work with some of L.A.’s finest hiphop talent including J. Dilla’s brother Illa J and produce a hiphop track.

Headrush – Your Tone, Your Way Advert

I was invited to compose and produce this slick guitar pedal advert at the legendary Angelic Studios. The brief: to take viewers on a journey through different tones, genres and vibes. It was a pleasure to MD these accomplished musicians and track on the legendary Townhouse studios SSL G series desk.

Little Mix – Live Lounge Performance

Novation – Journeys – Electronica

I was given the ambitious task to produce and perform an electronica track by sampling the sounds in and around Lake Como, Italy. Using a Launchpad mini, I loaded various sounds that we recorded in a local market, a waterfall, woodland and on a boat. Creative sound design was key here to make something really aesthetic.
